The Nurse Assistant Training (CNA) program prepares students with entry-level skills and knowledge to practice in the role of a certified nurse assistant in a variety of a long-term care settings and hiring CNA's. The course is designed to prepare students to successfully complete the state certification examination to become a Certified Nurse Assistant in the state of California. The program consists of a ten week course with both lecture and clinical components.

What is a CNA?

A certified nursing assistant (CNA) provides varying levels of care and support to physically and/or mentally disabled individuals who are unable to care for themselves. CNAs care for patients of all ages in hospitals, inpatient mental health facilities, and clinics. (Source: Nursing.org). Employment opportunities are good both locally and in the state. Graduates are actively employed primarily by local long-term care facilities.

Home Health Aide

九色视频听also offers a Home Health Aide Certificate course (HS71)

This course is designed to prepare the student to be a certified home health aide. The content follows the approved curriculum specific to federal and California state training regulations. The focus of this course is on the entry-level skills needed for employment as a home health aide.

Students registering in the Home Health Aid course must either hold a Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate or be enrolled in 九色视频鈥檚 Certified Nursing Assistant course (HS70).
